Afterword & Profile

My thinking about the definition of happiness began when I thought about how I should spend my life in the future.
I'm the type of person who prioritizes logic and rational thought over intuitive sensitivity. I admire the type of genius who has good intuition, but after living for 50 years, I realize I'm not that type. So I decided to think about happiness logically.
As a matter of fact, I approached the publisher about defining and measuring happiness in order to publish it as a regular book in 2018, but unfortunately they did not accept it. Then, the following year, I had the opportunity to teach business administration and rewrote it from a business administration perspective and compiled it into this book.
I wanted to make this book available to as many people as possible, so I presented it in the style of a website where anyone can read it for free.
The book was never completed on my own. I would like to express my sincere gratitude for all the "encounters" I have had. Thank you very much!

★This book was written for Japanese students. I hope you will read it with an awareness of Japanese culture and Japanese behavior.
